May your glass be ever full,
May the roof over your head be always strong,
And may you be in heaven half an hour
before the devil knows you're dead.

So, another year winds to an end. Here's to a Happy New Year and to bigger and better things for everyone. Anyone made and resolutions yet? Yea, whatever. :)

Have a good one people. See you in the new year.

 2005.12.24
Well, it's almost here so this will probably be my last post before Chrismas. So, here's to everybody having a Merry Chrismas and a Happy New Year!

It's also a special day for another good friend of mine ArtDeity. He's celebrating his big 40th on Christmas Day. Happy Birthday man!

Also, a big welcome home to my bros from away! Looking forward to seeing you guys over the holidays!

Here are some memorable Christmas Quotes to ponder on:
He who has not Christmas in his heart will never find it under a tree. ~Roy L. Smith

There has been only one Christmas - the rest are anniversaries. ~W.J. Cameron

Instead of being a time of unusual behavior, Christmas is perhaps the only time in the year when people can obey their natural impulses and express their true sentiments without feeling self-conscious and, perhaps, foolish. Christmas, in short, is about the only chance a man has to be himself. ~Francis C. Farley

From a commercial point of view, if Christmas did not exist it would be necessary to invent it. ~Katharine Whitehorn

In the old days, it was not called the Holiday Season; the Christians called it 'Christmas' and went to church; the Jews called it 'Hanukkah' and went to synagogue; the atheists went to parties and drank. People passing each other on the street would say 'Merry Christmas!' or 'Happy Hanukkah!' or (to the atheists) 'Look out for the wall!' ~Dave Barry, "Christmas Shopping: A Survivor's Guide"

A Christmas candle is a lovely thing; It makes no noise at all, But softly gives itself away. ~Eva Logue

Oh look, yet another Christmas TV special! How touching to have the meaning of Christmas brought to us by cola, fast food, and beer.... Who'd have ever guessed that product consumption, popular entertainment, and spirituality would mix so harmoniously? ~Bill Watterson, Calvin & Hobbes

Once again we find ourselves enmeshed in the Holiday Season, that very special time of year when we join with our loved ones in sharing centuries-old traditions such as trying to find a parking space at the mall. We traditionally do this in my family by driving around the parking lot until we see a shopper emerge from the mall, then we follow her, in very much the same spirit as the Three Wise Men, who 2,000 years ago followed a star, week after week, until it led them to a parking space. ~Dave Barry

To perceive Christmas through its wrapping becomes more difficult with every year. ~E.B. White, "The Distant Music of the Hounds," The Second Tree from the Corner, 1954

Roses are reddish, Violets are bluish, If it weren't for Christmas, We'd all be Jewish. ~Benny Hill

The Supreme Court has ruled that they cannot have a nativity scene in Washington, D.C. This wasn't for any religious reasons. They couldn't find three wise men and a virgin. ~Jay Leno

People can't concentrate properly on blowing other people to pieces if their minds are poisoned by thoughts suitable to the twenty-fifth of December. ~Ogden Nash
Sorry for the big blurb of stuff. I'll leave it at that. :) Merry Christmas Everyone!

Ah, the Christmas season is upon us, and soon, some of our bro's will be back on the rock. Whoohoo! Can't wait to celebrate with all my friends already here and those who are coming home! I also can't forget the ones floating around the other side of the planet either! Merry Christmas Squeege!
Meri Kurisumasu!

Or for my Irish friends, The Gaelic greeting for 'Merry Christmas' is: (pronounced as 'null-ig hun-a dit')
'Nollaig Shona Dhuit'
Hehehe, looks like old times. "I'll help you up and we'll continue drinkin'!" lol Reminds me of Lineman_Forever for some strange reason. ;)

Well, I did a few more updates to the site, added a 'Games' section and redid all the menu buttons. They may not look different but there was some suttle changes I wanted to make.

 2005.11.21
Raise your pints and holler three cheers for my two brothers that are away from home on their birthdays! The 'Lineman_Forever' on 11/18, and 'ATrain' on 11/21! I'm sure we all miss 'em like hell, but we'll see them soon! A big HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you both!

Did some minor cleanup of code and modified the code for the Shoutbox! so that when the text is selected in the 'Message' area and then the user clicks somewhere else in the Shoutbox! and back into the 'Message' area, the message text is not deleted.

I forgot to mention something. Good news! The server has been upgraded. New processor, more RAM... So hopefully you guys will see a performance difference. So a BIG thanks to Joe for the donation of parts.

Been doing a little bit of load testing too. Seems that the server is able to handle a good bit of stress with multiple users. But the real test will come when I get a few of you on the site at the same time.

 2005.11.16
Well, it's been a while since my last update, so here goes...

Finally, I've gotten back online since I left the web in mid-July, but to my dismay, when I restarted my webserver in it's new environment, it promptly went 'What? You want me to work now? NO!'. So since late October '05, I've been smashing the computer with a hammer ..er FIXING things here so everybody can communicate, aggravate, coagulate, or whatever.

Now the crisis is over, I can again begin enjoying sitting in front of my computer happily cursing at people shooting me online or happily cursing at people I've shot/blown up.

After a little pondering, I finally have the Chat area of the site back up. All spanky and new! It's a new flash based chat that looks better on the client side. Hopefully it works a little better too. We'll see soon enough when I get you guys to log in and help me put it through it's paces.

You also have to register a username for the chat too. I know it's a little bit of a pain in the a$$, but it will be better for us all in the long run. This way I can kick/ban people more easily.

I also thought of another section I thought would be a laugh on the site too. What does everybody think about a 'gallery' of sketches, photos, etc., for you guys to post to? Let me know. :)

 2005.07.09
Did some more tweaking of the 'Shoutbox!' and some other background items that are transparent to you, the end user. Everything seems to be looking fine and working well.

I've also been thinking about some new areas to create for the website. Sometime soon I should have an area for 'Pics', 'My Dog', 'Links' and maybe a 'Gaming' area.

 2005.06.30
Well, I won't say for sure, but I think the site now is pretty much displaying correctly in Firefox and M$IE. I haven't looked at it in Whendoze XP yet, but I'm hoping it's fine. If you're running XP, let me know if it looks ok.

Other than working on the web site, I've started playing DOOM 3 lately. Looks nice, but as pretty much everyone knows now, it gets a little repetitive with the endless attempts to make you jump. As Grifter told me, all you have to do is have the shotgun ready when you open doors. Lol. It's still a laugh to play though. I keep thinking about playing the old versions of the franchise. Especially playing multiplayer DOOM with friends. Those were the days.

Anyways, if I don't see any of you guys before the beginning of next month,
      Happy Canada Day!!!

 2005.06.26
Again, after completely redesigning the site I think I am (once again) near completion of the layout of the page. After getting pissed off and eating several keyboards (mMMMmmm... crunchy!), I have come close to being satisfied with the layout. Still, there are problems with the display on M$IEEEEeeeeeeee! but hopefully I can work them out.

 2005.06.23
I think I've finally finished redesigning the layout of the page (well, almost). It now *should* fit fine to the viewers in 800x600, EVEN in Windows XP. And yet another reason why I hate Mi¢cro$oft. Their browser standards change even from each OS version. Ugh.

*Further note: M$IE makes me stabby.

 2005.06.22
Just finished AVP2: Primal Hunt. Wasn't too bad, although some of the Corporate missions got a little hairy at times. I was kinda disappointed in the ending, what there was of it, but that seems to be the way more and more games are finishing off these days.

Oh well, I enjoyed being immersed in the genre anyways. It's always fun getting your heart beating with the Marines/Corporate missions, being sneaky with the Aliens, or just bein' a walking fuckin' tank playing the Predators... :) Now if I can just get Grizz a hold of the game, I'll play it again with multiplayer Co-op!

 2005.06.21
Just wanted to get something different here than the Evil Monkey and Peter. :) Not that that's a bad thing but when the "Evil Monkey" popped a message in the shoutbox and said his arm was getting tired, I figured I'd put him out of his misery.

I think the game went great on Friday too. It's the first time that we've been able to get together and game since early March, if I remember correctly. Well, it doesn't matter whenever it was, it was great to get everybody together in the same place after this amount of time.

At least the page is starting to look more like a web site. :)

I have also yet found another reason to hate Mi¢ro$oft. Their adherence to the W3C standard SUCKS. Surprise, surprise. They must think they're special. Anyways, long story short, until I can plug the code in for M$ Intestinal Exploder, you poor people won't be able to see the page correctly.
